The long wait of the youth of Rajasthan is over. Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has released the schedule of practical and physical test for the recruitment of Fireman and Assistant Fire Officer. Under which 6 thousand 290 shortlisted candidates for 629 posts will give practical and physical test from December 12 to December 28 in any other district of the state except the home district. Let us tell you that earlier the practical and physical tests were to be conducted from November 28 to December 16. But due to the G-20 conference going to be held in Rajasthan and Rahul Gandhi’s visit, the schedule of the recruitment process has been pushed forward.

The selection will be done on passing the three stages for the Fireman and Assistant Fire Officer (AFO) recruitment exam. In which the first written test will be of 70 marks. After this the physical test will be of 60 marks. After this practical will be of 90 marks.

In such a case, the maximum marks scored in all the three tests will be 220. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks of all the three. After this candidates will be given posting on the basis of merit after document verification.

Physical and practical test after 6 months of result

Last year in October 2021, the state government had sought applications for the recruitment of 29 AFO and 600 posts. This was followed in January 2021. It was conducted in 7 divisions of Rajasthan for 629 posts. In which more than one and a half lakh candidates had registered.

During this the examination was conducted in two shifts. There was no negative marking in the recruitment test. At the same time, after this, the result of the written test was released in April. At the same time, even after 6 months of the release of the result, the practical and physical tests are being conducted.
