In his address, Modi motivated the youth to take advantage of the recently announced new National Education Policy. He said that efforts are being made to create an ecosystem in the country, the lack of which often forces the youth to look abroad for education.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned that there was a perception in the country that if a young man turned to politics, the householders would say that the child is deteriorating because politics had become a means – quarrel, trouble, Plunder, corruption! People used to say that everything can change, but politics cannot change. He said that today even honest people are getting an opportunity in politics and the perception is changing that politics is the place of immoral activities. He said that Honesty and performance is becoming the first mandatory condition of today’s politics.

He said that there are some changes in the country and these changes have to be done by the youth of the country. He stressed that political dynasty is such a challenge before the country which has to be uprooted. Because political dynasty promotes inefficiency in democracy along with dictatorship. He also said that dynasty is also a big reason for political and social corruption in India.

On this occasion, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that it should be our resolve that we should make maximum use of youth energy and youth power to revive the country and strengthen the Constitution and Parliament. He expressed confidence that the future of our democracy is bright because our youth power is an active participant in our country, our democracy and our system. Youth are coming forward with innovations of positive changes in the country. He said that this is an encouraging sign for the democratic future of our country.

He called upon the participants to make active efforts to reach parliamentary procedures and values ​​to maximum people in the country. He expressed confidence that the power and energy sources that the youth will take from here will strengthen democracy in different regions of the country and along with it the path of solving the problems and difficulties of the country will also come out through this democracy.

Om Birla further said that Swami Vivekananda had given a message to strengthen self-power and self-confidence among the youth. He said that he is seeing the same youth-power and confidence in everyone that can make impossible things seem possible. He said that the youth have the ability to make Swamiji’s dreams come true.

Expressing his views about the importance of the constitution, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said that the most important part of our constitution is – the preamble and the first sentence of this preamble – We the people of India. This sentence binds every person of Indian society with a national spirit. He further said that the citizens of the country are the most important in the parliamentary and constitutional process and the most important section among the citizens is the youth.

Pokhriyal also said that empowerment of youth is empowerment of the nation. He said about the National Youth Festival that through this program, the campaign for empowerment of individuals from society and society from nation is moving fast.

The Education Minister recalled Swami Vivekananda and said that Swamiji considered the youth as the greatest strength of the nation. He further said that the greatest importance in life is of character; And on the four pillars of physical purification, social purification, intellectual purification and spiritual purification, the building of society and nation building stands.

In his address, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports, Kiren Rijiju said that for the first time this year, the National Youth Festival has been organized in an online-offline high-bridged mode using technology and there has been record participation. He told that 7 lakh youth participated in 24 different competitions in this festival. Rijiju congratulated all the winners of the National Youth Parliament Festival and said that when the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi gave a clear call to the nation to fight COVID 19, the Indian youth played a leading role in our fight against this global epidemic. . He congratulated all the youth of India on National Youth Day. Rijiju said that India has a great youth power and they will build a self-reliant India and this youth is the guardian of the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.

At the end of the program, Speaker of Lok Sabha, Om Birla rewarded the winners of the National Youth Parliament 2021 competition.
