Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 66th convocation ceremony of IIT Kharagpur in West Bengal today through video conferencing. He will also inaugurate Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Institute of Medical Sciences. PM had arrived in Hooghly in the state a day before in the railway program. The event will take place at 12:30 pm. This was his third Bengal tour this month. The state is going to have elections in April-May this year, in such a situation the BJP has increased its focus here.

Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Institute is built in Balrampur
Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is a super specialty hospital. It is in Balrampur in West Medinipur district. It has been prepared by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. It has 650 beds and costs Rs 250 crores.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Union Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre will also be present on the occasion.

PM said- Bengal has now made up its mind of Poribartan
In Hooghly, the Prime Minister said that now West Bengal has made up its mind for poribartan (change). Taunting the TMC, he said that the talk of mother, mother and man, has become a wall in front of the development of Bengal.
