Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Rajasthan’s first Vande Bharat train on Wednesday. The train will be flagged off virtually by the Prime Minister from New Delhi. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav himself will travel in this train from Jaipur. GM Vijay Sharma of North-Western Railway and other public representatives will be present at Jaipur station along with the Railway Minister at 11 am.
Earlier on Tuesday, the schedule of Vande Bharat train was released. From April 13, common people will be able to travel in this train. This train going from Ajmer to Delhi Cantt via Jaipur will run 6 days a week. It will take 5 hours from Ajmer to Delhi and 4 hours from Jaipur to Delhi.
Will go to Delhi Cantt
Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway said- From April 13, train 20977 Ajmer-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Superfast Express will leave Ajmer at 6:20 am and reach Delhi Cantt at 11:35 am. In between stoppages have been given at Jaipur, Alwar and Gurgaon (Gurugram). Five minutes stoppage has been given in Jaipur, two minutes each in Ajmer-Gurgaon respectively. This train will start from Ajmer and reach Jaipur at 7.50 am. After stopping for 5 minutes, it will leave at 07.55 and reach Alwar at 09.35. There is a pause of 2 minutes here. Leaving from here at 9.37 and will reach Gurgaon (Gurugram) at 11.15. Here also a pause of 2 minutes has been given. It will leave Gurgaon at 11.17 hrs and reach Delhi Cantt at 11.35 hrs.
In the return direction, train number 20978 Delhi Cantt-Ajmer Vande Bharat Superfast Express will leave for Ajmer at 6.40 pm. It will reach Jaipur via Gurgaon, Alwar at 10.05 pm. Leaving Jaipur at 10.10 pm, this train will reach Ajmer at 11.55 pm.
won’t run on wednesday
Vande Bharat train will run only 6 days a week. This train will not operate on every Wednesday. There will be maintenance of the train on this day. The train will have a total of 16 coaches including 12 AC Chaircar, 2 AC Executive Chaircar and 2 Driving Car.
Crew and checking staff will be from Jaipur only
Crew (loco pilot/guard) and checking staff in Vande Bharat will be from Jaipur only. In this regard, Principal CCM Archana Srivastava held a final meeting with the trade union on Tuesday morning. In this, the demands of union’s divisional president KS Ahlawat, divisional minister Mukesh Chaturvedi, GLO president Subhash Pareek, CTI Ramniwas Chowdhary, UPRKS’s organization minister Sameer Sharma and UPRMS divisional president Saurabh Dixit were accepted. On this, the ticket checking staff of Jaipur division expressed gratitude to Ahlawat and Chaturvedi. Also, the administration assured Mohan Chellani, the divisional president of the union of Ajmer division, that the next Vande Bharat train will be given to Ajmer division only.
Trial run was done for 3 days in March
This train was trialled for three days in March. Then this train was run between Ajmer to New Delhi at a speed of about 110 kilometers per hour. During the trial run itself, the employees of Ajmer and Jaipur divisions created a ruckus regarding the deployment of staff in the train. The employee organizations of both the circles wanted the deployment of employees from their respective places for ticket checking and operation.
Currently Vande Bharat train runs on these routes
At present, a total of 13 Vande Bharat trains are operating in the country. The first train was started in January 2019 between New Delhi and Varanasi. After this, this state-of-the-art train will run on New Delhi-Vaishno Devi, Gandhinagar-Mumbai, Delhi-Amb Andaura (Himachal Pradesh), Chennai-Mysore, Nagpur-Bilaspur, Howrah-New Jalpaiguri, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad, Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi, Mumbai-Solapur and Started between Bhopal-Delhi. Apart from this, train operations have also started between Chennai-Coimbatore and Secunderabad-Tirupati since last week.

automatic slide door: In this semi high speed train, special care has been taken for the security of the people. All its gates are automatic. The gates will open automatically only when the train comes to a complete stop. The doors will not open on the slightest movement of the train.
Your message will reach through a switch: For the convenience of the passengers, a speaker and switch have been installed in it. If a passenger has to convey his message to the pilot, then as soon as a switch is turned on, his voice will reach the pilot room.
CCTV equipped coachesAdequate security arrangements were made by the Railways in this luxury train. All coaches have been provided with CCTV as well as fire extinguisher, first aid kit and emergency button. If the train has to be stopped in an emergency, then the button has to be pressed for this.
Vande Bharat train will have both western and Indian toilets.
Luxury Bathroom: Luxury bathrooms have been prepared for the coaches of the Vande Bharat train. Its gate will also be automatic. Touching the gate will open the bathroom gate. It will have both western and Indian toilets. Apart from this, there will also be glass and other facilities.

Display Board: Every coach will have a display board. As soon as the next station arrives, it will be announced. Emergency numbers and necessary information will also be displayed on the display board.
