Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the situation with the Corona epidemic with the Governor and Lieutenant Governors.
Prime Minister Modi held a video conference with the Governor and Lieutenant Governors on Wednesday. It reviewed the vaccination program being carried out across the country and the situation related to the corona epidemic was also discussed. Modi said that the central government will not allow vaccine shortage in any state. During vaccine festival the scope of vaccination will be expanded and new vaccination centers will also be built.
He said that Governor is a pillar of public participation. The problems of the states can be solved only with their cooperation and guidance. Modi advised all the states and union territories that governors are well connected with social institutions, so the governor can play the right role in creating micro containment zones as well.
CBSE big decision after mounting corona case
In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Center on Wednesday made a major and necessary decision for CBSE students. The government has canceled the examinations of class 10 starting May 4 and has now deferred the exams for class 12. The government will decide on the 12th examination on 1 June. If it is decided to take the exam, then students will be given 15 days time, that is, the exam will be done only after June 15.
More than 1.65 lakh patients found in last 24 hours
More than 1.65 lakh new patients were found in the country on Tuesday. 78,875 recovered and 728 died. The number of new patients is reaching new heights every day, but for the first time, the number of active cases has increased by more than one lakh. The death toll also crossed 1,000 for the first time this year on Tuesday. Last year, the first wave of the epidemic had the highest number of 1,281 deaths on 15 September.
Strict preparation in Kumbh
More than 10 lakh devotees took a dip in the Ganges on the occasion of the royal bath on Wednesday at the Kumbh in Haridwar amidst the havoc of Corona. It is now reported that the government is preparing to take strict steps regarding Kumbh. The Tirath government of Uttarakhand churned this on Wednesday. Spokesperson Subodh Uniyal said that due to the crowd, there are constant problems in following the guidelines issued for Kovid-19 in Kumbh. Cases of corona positive are also increasing among pilgrims and saints. In such a situation, some strict steps can be taken. In Kumbh, the number of saints and pilgrims in the akhadas can be limited.
