Coronavirus Vaccine: At a time when India is about to start the world’s largest coronavirus vaccination program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to hold a big meeting with the Chief Ministers of states on Monday about the vaccination drive. Vaccination is starting on a large scale in the entire country from Saturday. Last week, the country’s Drug Controller General body approved two vaccines – Covaxin of Bharat Biotech and Emergency Use of Covishield of Serum Institute of India, after which it is the first meeting of PM’s chief ministers.
On Saturday, the PM held a high-level meeting with senior officials to review Kovid’s situation, following which he tweeted that on January 16, India is going to take a big step in its fight against Kovid-19. From that day, India will start a vaccination drive at the national level. The first priority will be given to the frontline workers including our brave doctors, health workers and sanitation workers.
Let us know that the government has so far conducted three dry runs of the Corona vaccine, out of which two dry runs have been conducted simultaneously throughout the country, so that the delivery system can be tested. The government will manage the entire program of vaccination through its CoWIN (Covid Vaccine Intelligence Network).
