After 45 minutes, health deteriorated, it took half an hour to find another ventilator
Hospital sources said the ventilator shutdown was between 3 pm and 4:30 pm. The 58-year-old Kovid patient was brought here from Sehore. His condition was critical, so he was immediately placed on oxygen support in bed number 3 of the medical ward-3. Also ventilator was installed. About 45 minutes later, the patient complained of restlessness.
The ventilator was shut down when the doctor and duty nurses were doing medical examination of the patient. In a hurry, ventilators kept empty in other wards were searched. About half an hour later a ventilator was found from the second medical ward. The patient was shifting from a bad ventilator to the right ventilator, but, before that, the patient died.
