Today both petrol and diesel have become expensive by 35-35 paise per liter in the capital Delhi. Petrol is being sold in Delhi today at Rs 104.79 per liter and diesel at Rs 93.54 per liter. At the same time, petrol has become costlier by 36 paise in Mumbai and is being sold at Rs 110.75 per liter today. Diesel has increased by 37 paise and its rate is Rs 101.40 per liter.
Let us tell you that this increase has been done when there was a fall in the international crude oil market on Wednesday. Yesterday, the international oil standard Brent crude fell 0.54 percent to $ 82.97 a barrel. Earlier, crude was trading above the rate of $ 83 per barrel, but oil prices were stable in the domestic market for two days. Since India is a net importer of crude oil, its domestic prices are directly affected by crude fluctuations.
