new Delhi:

During the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament between Covid-19, there was some request from MPs regarding Face Mask, which was rejected. In fact, Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav in the Rajya Sabha had sought permission to remove the mask while speaking in the House on Wednesday, complaining of 'feeling like suffocation' while wearing the mask while speaking. On which Chairman Venkaiah Naidu told the MPs that they would have to wear masks throughout the house. The Chairman said that there is a problem in speaking of wearing masks and sitting in masks the whole time… but I myself spoke to the Director General of ICMR. He told that since the house is air conditioned, it is necessary to wear a mask for the entire time. Earlier it was suggested that one should wear masks while talking to someone, but now they have been asked to wear masks all the time. Later this rule can be changed.

An advisory was issued in April, in which the government advised to have good ventilation facilities in closed rooms or places where there is air conditioning. It was said that in such places windows should be kept open or there should be an exhaust unit, so that fresh air keeps coming in.

Now as the Rajya Sabha does not have ventilation facilities for fresh air, it is advisable to wear masks all the time in air conditioned rooms to prevent the virus from spreading.

Let us know that guidelines have been issued for the ongoing monsoon session in the middle of Kovid-19, in which the wearing of masks and social distancing has been given prominence. The seating arrangement in the house is also different. Before the session, all MPs and employees of Parliament were given a Kovid test, in which 17 Lok Sabha MPs and eight Rajya Sabha MPs got positive.
