Every year since 2013 March 20 is celebrated as International Day of Happiness.

The Annual Happiness Report has been released on the occasion of International Happiness Day. India is at 125th position in the list of 137 countries. India’s neighboring countries Pakistan (108), Myanmar (72), Nepal (78), Bangladesh (102) and China (64) have been placed above India in the list. In the report, Finland has been described as the happiest country in the world. He has got first place for the sixth time in a row.

Afghanistan at the last place in the list
Afghanistan has got 137th position in this list. According to the report, the people there are most unhappy. Other countries in the list of least happy countries are- Lebanon, Zimbabwe, The Democratic Republic of Congo etc. These countries have the highest corruption and the lowest life expectancy among people.

UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network released the report

This report has been released by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network. It is made on the basis of global survey data conducted on people of more than 150 countries.

In this, special attention is given to factors like GDP per capita, social support, life expectancy, freedom, corruption and generosity.

Russia-Ukraine situation better than India

The Russia-Ukraine war has been going on for the last one year. Still their position in Happiness Index is better than India. Russia has been placed at number 70 and Ukraine at number 92.

Despite being the fastest growing economy in the world, India remains at the very bottom of the list. In such a situation, many people are raising the question why India is below even the countries in crisis.
