Amidst the Asia Cup controversy, former captain of Pakistan cricket team Shahid Afridi has made a big claim. Afridi said that I am telling the earlier thing. An Indian had threatened the Pakistani team that we cannot go to India.

Afridi said – Our team sidelined all this. Our government took it as a responsibility and the team came to India. Threats cannot ruin our relationships. The dangers will remain.

Pakistan is adamant on having the Asia Cup in its own country and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) does not want to send a team there. It is being claimed in the reports that the cricket boards of both the countries will meet in Dubai and find a way out. But no official statement has come regarding this meeting.
