Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha is brainstorming with all the parties for the Bihar Assembly budget session. But the proposal of calling a short-term session to the opposition is not acceptable. On Sunday, a meeting of all opposition parties was held at the residence of the leader of the opposition Tejashwi Yadav. In which the Speaker was urged that either the budget session is held like one and a half months every year, otherwise the opposition will not boycott the small session but will encircle the houses of the Chief Minister and the two Deputy Chief Ministers every day.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav said that if the assembly session does not run in the traditional way, then we will boycott the house and people of all the grand alliance will try to surround the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister’s residence. According to Tejashwi, when every kind of political event can be organized, then why is the session of the assembly being shortened.
Earlier on Saturday, Tejashwi Yadav went to meet him on the invitation of Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Sinha. Giving information about that meeting, he said that by citing the program of Corona Vaccine, there was a discussion on organizing the session for six to seven days instead of earlier. He said that it is not possible to accept it because nothing is clear about the vaccine program right now. In such a situation, the budget session of the Legislative Assembly, which is most important, cannot be done in the short term. He said that who will raise the voice of the public again.
Tejashwi Yadav again accused Nitish Kumar that he had talked about forming an all-party committee in the Assembly to monitor everything related to Corona and later retracted from it. He said that if the house is run regularly, then if the program of giving vaccine is also going on, then its monitoring will be better based on the feedback.
