Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates will be able to apply online from 21st June to 5th July at 12 midnight with pre-determined fee. After the announcement of the state government for this, now the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education has also issued orders.
Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education Chairman and REET chief coordinator Dr DP Jaroli said on Friday that the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) 2021 will be conducted in two shifts on Sunday, September 26. It is noteworthy that earlier this examination was to be held on 25 April but it was postponed to 20 June. Now its date has been changed to 26 September.
16 lakh 40 thousand 319 candidates applied
So far 16 lakh 40 thousand 319 candidates have applied in the REET exam. REET exam is to be conducted in two shifts. Level-one and two, i.e. 9 lakh 13 thousand 183 candidates in both, 3 lakh 63 thousand 317 in level-one only and 3 lakh 63 thousand 819 candidates have applied in level-two.
150 questions to be solved in two and a half hours
A total of 150 questions will be asked in both the first and second papers. All questions will be multiple choice. Candidates will be given two and a half hours to solve these questions. All questions will be of 1 mark each.
Education Minister announced two days ago
Rajasthan government announced the new date of REET exam two days in advance. Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara tweeted and talked about conducting REET exam from 26th September and taking applications from EWS candidates from 21st June to 5th July.
