The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain even today. The Meteorological Department said on Friday that the country is likely to receive average rainfall between 94% and 106% in July.

Rain alert in 11 states
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of moderate to heavy rain at some places in Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab-Haryana. Light to moderate rain with isolated falls over parts of West Madhya Pradesh, parts of Southwest Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka and North Kerala Heavy rain has been warned at places.
Delhi received half of July’s rain in one day

Monsoon will remain shadow for four days in Rajasthan
