In view of the uncontrollable transition of Corona in Bihar, the Nitish government has finally taken the decision of complete lockdown. CM Nitish Kumar took the stock of Patna for the second time on Monday and took stock of the situation. He then called a high-level meeting with both deputy CMs and other officials. It was decided in this meeting that this is the way to stop the spread of infection in Bihar. This lockdown has been done till 15 May. CM Nitish Kumar gave this information from social media.

The Patna High Court had also asked the Bihar government on Monday what decision it was taking on the complete lockdown in the state. After giving due consideration in this case, the court directed to reply by Tuesday 4 May. The court has once again considered the government’s efforts to control corona in Bihar inadequate. Earlier, the IMA had also demanded a lockdown for 15 days in view of the situation in Bihar. There was a demand for a lockdown from the political parties as well.

Night curfew was done from 6 in the evening to see the infection rising
Bihar currently has a night curfew from 6 pm to 6 am. All shops are closing at 4 pm. All government-private offices (except those coming in essential services) are also opening till 4 pm with 25% personnel. However, this rule of night curfew is not applicable to public transport, agricultural work, industrial units, construction work, health establishments and related works, fruit and vegetable sellers on the cart, restaurants etc. The facility of packing and carrying food continues till 9 pm in the restaurant.
When did Bihar face complete lockdown
Even during the unlock, the restrictions kept increasing in Bihar till 6 September.
