During the corona vaccination in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, great negligence has come to light. Here 3 women were injected with anti rabies (dog bite injection) instead of corona. Out of these, the case was revealed when a 70-year-old woman worsened. The three women are over 60 years of age.
Syringes were also ordered from medical
The incident is from Kandhla Community Health Center in Shamli. On Thursday, Saroj (70), Anarkali (72) and Satyavati (60), living in Kandhla, reached the health center to get the first dose of the Corona vaccine. The three told that the employees present in the health center called for syringes of Rs 10 each from the medical store and got them vaccinated. After this, all three went to their home.
Poll open on transport to private hospital
Shortly after reaching home, Saroj’s condition deteriorated. They started feeling dizzy and nervous. Family members got him admitted to a private hospital. Seeing the prescription of the health center, the doctor said that he has been given anti-rabies vaccine. After the negligence, the family members of the women created a ruckus and complained to the medical officer Sanjay Aggarwal.
District officer assured action after investigation
District officer Jasjit Kaur said that a team of Kairana Health Center in-charge and an ACMO has been asked for an inquiry report to investigate the matter. Strict action will be taken against the employees found guilty in the investigation report.
