The doors of the temple of Goddess Maa were opened from 4 am in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh. According to an estimate, more than 50 thousand people have visited the temple till morning.

Mother Sharda’s Dham Maihar
Maihar is in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh. The mother Sharada sits on Mount Trikuta here. Devotees started visiting the Devi Maa’s court from 4 am itself. By midday, according to an estimate more than 50 thousand devotees have visited. The queue still continues. In Maihar Dham, the priest Sumit Maharaj told that there was special worship on Mahashtami from 3.30 am to 4 am. After this, the boards of the Mother Goddess were opened to the devotees. The pats are closed after the sleeping aarti at 8.30 pm, but if the devotees continue to come, they will keep the doors open.
Bijasan Mata of Salkanpur
Bijasan Mata sits in Sakhalpur in Madhya Pradesh. The number of visitors here on Ashtami and Navami is up to 1 lakh. This time due to corona, the number of devotees is less, but till 9 am, more than 20 thousand devotees have visited the mother. By evening this number is likely to reach 50 thousand. Mahant Prabhudayal Sharma said that the doors have been opened at 5.30 am with Aarti.
Rajarajeshwari Mata of Karauli
Rajarajeshwari Kaila Maa Temple in Karauli, Rajasthan is also one of the famous sites of the Mother Goddess. Devotees from close states have reached the mother’s darshan here. Kaila Devi Temple Trust Manager Mahesh Chand Sharma is handling the arrangements. On the other hand, the court of Shekhawati’s Shakti Peetha Jina Mata has been closed for common devotees this time. This time, the mother did not even have traditional enjoyment. Priest Rakesh Parashar said that the goddess has been dressed in clothes from Kolkata and Kanpur. Common devotees are being offered darshan of the Mother Goddess online.
Kamakhya Temple of Kashi
The Kamakhya temple in Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) is not as crowded on Ashtami this time. The doors were opened for darshan in the temple only after Mangal Aarti at dawn. Outside the temple, only a few people were seen in flower-garland shops. Chhotu, who sells flowers, told- There is no rush at Ashtami this time. There was a crowd of devotees, there was shoplifting. This time it was not known that it is Navratri. Priest Devendra Puri told that this time Corona is as if he has stopped the feet of the devotees in the houses.
Chinnamastika Temple of Jharkhand
Chinnamastika temple in Rajarappa in Jharkhand is also crowded since morning. Priest Aseem Panda said that devotees from other states are coming to the temple to see the mother from morning. The temple is among the mountains in the forest. Shopkeepers selling puja paraphernalia and flower-case outside the temple are also happy to see the huge crowd of devotees. They hope to have a good sale by evening.
