Therefore, in consultation with the President’s Office of India, the Health Ministry has decided to start Polio Vaccination Day, also known as National Immunization Day (NID) or “Polio Ravivar”, from 31 January.
He said that the Ministry has taken this decision to ensure smooth operation of Kovid Management and Vaccination and other essential services apart from Kovid. The ministry said in a statement that the President will start Polio National Immunization Day by drinking polio supplements to some children at Rashtrapati Bhavan on January 30 at noon.
