The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to set up a National Law University in Prayagraj in the budget of 2021-2022, while funds have also been proposed for the court buildings in the districts. 100 crore rupees are proposed for the construction of residential buildings of the judges of the High Court. A provision of Rs 20 crore has been made to transfer the proceeds of the sale of welfare stamps related to Uttar Pradesh Advocate Welfare Fund to the Trustees Committee for Advocate Welfare Fund.
