NASA released first video of rover landing on Mars


Of America Space Agency NASA (NASA) released the first audio from Mars on Monday. This audio from NASA Persistence rover (Perseverance Rover), which recorded the sound of winds. Apart from this, NASA has also released the first video of the landing of the rovers on the red planet (Mars). The US space agency reported that the microphone was not working during the rover’s landing on the Mars surface. However, the microphone started capturing audio as the rover landed on Mars.

Dave Gruel, lead engineer for Perseverance’s camera and microphone system, said, “The sound you’re hearing in 10 seconds of audio is actually a gust of wind, recorded by a microphone on the surface of Mars and sent to us on Earth is.”

In the High Definition video released by NASA, the Perseverance Rover is seen landing on the surface with the help of a red and white parachute. This video is of 3 minutes 25 seconds. In this video, the rover is shown landing on the surface amidst the dust.

“This is the first time we’ve been able to capture an event like a landing on Mars,” said Michael Watkins, director of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He said that this is a really amazing video.
