Tanishka lost her father Sujit three years ago in 2020 during the Kovid-19 pandemic. Tanishka’s father was her teacher. He had received special permission from the governor to include his daughter in the board examination.
Tanishka said, ‘When my father Sujit used to teach coaching to students of 10th and 12th class, I was 9 years old and studying in 5th. After watching his coaching, I felt like studying 10th. My father also felt that I can do this. After that he started trying to get special permission from the governor and it took a year.
He said, ‘After getting permission, I passed 10th at the age of 11 and then 12th at the age of 12. This was the first case in Madhya Pradesh, for which I was also examined separately.
After this Tanishka took admission in BA (Psychology) at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) at the age of 13. Tanishka said that now she is in her final year of graduation at the age of 15.
His father Sujit got infected with Kovid-19 in 2020. At that time, Tanishka’s intermediate examination was going on, but before the results came, her father passed away.
Talking about meeting PM Modi, he said, ‘I got a call from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). He called me to meet him in Bhopal on 1st April. PM Modi talked to me for 15 minutes and asked about me. Also asked what he could learn from me, so I told him about the dedication and hard work that he already has.
Tanishka said, “I also told him about my dream that after doing my BA in psychology, I would go to America and become a ‘Juris Doctor’ (Doctor of Jurisprudence or JD). (It is a graduate-entry professional degree in law). This course is not available in India. After that I want to become the Chief Justice of India.”
