There is a possibility of heavy rain in many states of India on Sunday and Monday. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Mumbai, Palghar and Thane districts of Maharashtra, which are facing the worst rain. Bihar: Alert issued in 19 districts
There is a possibility of heavy rain in the state from July 26. A red alert has been sounded in about 19 districts including Supaul, Araria, Madhubani, Madhepura and North Central Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Saharsa, Samastipur, Begusarai and Khagaria in North East Bihar. Many areas of Bihar including Saharsa and Muzaffarnagar are already submerged in floods.
In the last week of July, there is a possibility of floods in many districts of Bihar due to rain.
Rajasthan: Lightning warning with rain
Heavy rain is expected in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Udaipur and Ajmer in the state in the next three to four days. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for the state. There has also been a warning of lightning in many areas along with rain. Monsoon is likely to remain active here till July 27 with heavy rains.
Uttar Pradesh: Threat of migration in more than 100 villages
A high alert has been issued in 16 districts of the state due to the threat of floods. Due to the rains in the hilly areas, the water level has increased in many rivers including Sharda, Ghaghra, Saryu and Ganga in the state. The danger of migration has increased in more than 100 villages situated on the banks of these rivers. People’s homes in villages have been flooded and boats have to be resorted to for movement. There is a possibility of heavy rain in the state from Monday to Wednesday.
