In Ocean City, Maryland, a man jumped into the river to save the child, for which he is praised. A 23-month-old girl died in a car accident on Sunday. The car hanged from the railing. The Ocean City Fire Department said in a statement released on social media that several other people were injured in the accident.
As soon as the information was received, the fire and police units were sent to the scene of the incident. The vehicle was hanging from the railing and several patients were injured after the collision. The fire department said, people were removed from the car after the collision.
Soon after the accident, a child fell into the river. A person saved by jumping in time. Ocean City Fire Department firefighter and Madison Ryan Wheatington told CNN, “He jumped into the river to save. He saved the 23-month-old girl. If he did not do this, then this story would have had a different title. ‘
Wheington said that the person was walking on the bridge at the time of the accident. The jumper has refused to reveal his name. On Facebook, many people praised the “humble hero” and said his act of bravery should be recognized by an award.
The girl was taken to Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital. Seven other people injured in the accident were also taken to the hospital.
