New York. The Dow Jones opened down 24 points, down 0.10 percent on Tuesday. While Nasdaq gained 0.39 percent to 38 points and S&P rose 0.21 percent to 6 points. The Dow Jones 25571, Nasdaq 9912 and S&P were trading at 3059 points when the market opened.
On Tuesday, almost all major markets around the world gained. Japan's Nikkai closed with a lead of 293 points, China's Shanghai Composite 23 points, Hong Kong's Hang Sang 125 points and South Korea's Kospi by 14 points, while India's Nifty closed down 5 points and the Sensex fell 45 points. At the same time, FTSE 100 of UK Time, CAC 40 of France, DAX of Germany, FTSE MIB of Italy and MICEX of Russia are trading in decline.
The Dow Jones closed with an edge on Monday
On Monday, the Dow Jones closed at 25595, up 2.32 percent or 580 points.
Nasdaq gained 1.20 per cent or 116 points to end at 9874 points and S&P 1.47 per cent or 44 points to end at 3053 points.

Indian market closed with a fall
Indian stock markets opened with a rise this morning and closed with a fall due to selling in the last one hour. BSE fell 45.72 points to end at 34,915.80 points. The Nifty slipped 5.20 points to close at 10,307.20. Shares of 17 companies closed down on the BSE-30 due to the sell-off. In the morning trading session, shares of 27 companies were trading up in the BSE-30. Power Grid shares closed at 2.08 per cent, the highest in the BSE-30. Nestle India was the top gainer with 2.63 per cent. Healthcare sector stocks lost the most by 199.70 points on BSE.
Indian markets closed on Monday as well. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) was down 209 points at 34.961.52 points. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty was down 70 points to close at 10,312.40 points.
