Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India is going to launch its new two-wheeler today. The company had officially released a teaser regarding this event. It is believed that the company can unveil its new Activa (Activa 6G). The company can name this scooter as Activa H-Smart.

It is being said in media reports that the upcoming scooter will come with new safety features including anti-theft system. It will be equipped with Honda Ignition Security System (HISS). This feature is currently available in Honda’s premium vehicles. It can compete with TVS Jupiter and Hero Maestro.

New 109.51 cc engine can be found in new Activa
Other features include a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. The Honda Activa could be powered by the H-Smart’s 109.51 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled FI engine as per the emission norms. It is expected to generate a power output of 7.73bhp.

Honda Activa 6G was launched in 2020. Currently its price is between Rs 73,360 to Rs 75,860. On the other hand, the price of the new Smart model of the scooter is expected to be between 75 to 80 thousand rupees.

Honda’s EV will come soon
Last year, the company had unveiled its electric scooter – EM1 e at EICMA 2022. It is the first electric two-wheeler from the auto maker for the European market. According to the company, the scooter will be launched in summer next year. Honda is also planning to introduce more electric bikes globally in the next two years.
