Maharashtra has reached number three in the world in terms of new cases. Brazil and America are ahead in this matter. The state has received 55,469 new cases of corona infection during the last 24 hours. 34,256 recovered, while 297 died. This is the second largest figure in the new case. Earlier, on April 4, there were 57,074 cases.
So far, 31.13 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. 25.83 lakh have been cured and 56,330 have died. Currently 4 lakh 72 thousand 283 patients are being treated. Maharashtra is at number 10 in the world in terms of total active cases.
Top-3 in new case
All will be closed except essential services in Pune and Pimpri
In Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad, all shops, shopping malls, gyms, salons, spas, beauty parlors, parks and grounds will remain closed except for the much needed services from 10 to 30 April. Section 144 has been implemented in both cities. More than five people are not allowed to come out from Monday to Friday from 7 am to 6 pm. The order of hard lockdown after 6 pm is the same as before.
Permission to open
Very important services and related shops, hospital, medical, medical insurance office, pharmaceutical company, sabzi mandi, grocery shop, vegetable-fruit shops, dairy, bakery, sweet mart, bus, cab, rickshaw, railway station, transport in Pune , E-commerce, IT services, newspaper offices and petrol pumps have been kept open.
All private offices have been allowed to be open from 7 am to 6 pm throughout the week on the condition of giving a cavid vaccine to all their employees or conducting RT-PCR tests every 15 days.
Restriction on entry of outsiders in BMC
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has banned the entry of people in its head office and other offices in the city. The BMC has stated in the circular that no one will be allowed to come to the BMC office except those who come from very important work and attend pre-decided meetings.
BMC will have to submit test report in 24 hours
BMC has released new guidelines regarding Mumbai Corona Testing. Now the lab will have to report the RT-PCR test report and private hospitals with the Rapid Antigen Test report to BMC within 24 hours. If they do not do so, their license will be canceled.
Patients with cold symptoms will have rapid antigen
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that a private hospital in Mumbai can conduct rapid antigen screening (RAT) for patients with severe cold-like symptoms, but those without symptoms will not be screened. The RAT test can quickly detect corona virus infection.

Highest death in Mumbai after October
On Tuesday, 10,030 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Mumbai and 31 patients died due to the epidemic. This is the highest number of deaths in a single day since October in Mumbai. According to BMC figures, so far 4 lakh 72 thousand 332 people have been affected by this epidemic in the city. Out of these 3 lakh 82 thousand patients have been cured. 11,828 people have lost their lives, while 77,495 patients are undergoing treatment.
Mandatory for RT-PCR testing to outsiders in Kolhapur
Kolhapur district administration has made RT-PCR check mandatory for all the people coming from outside. Kolhapur Collector Daulat Desai said that the prevalence of Kovid-19 in the district is still low, but there are more cases of infection in neighboring districts like Pune, Sangli and Satara. He said that those who want to come to Kolhapur district will have to undergo RT-PCR test and bring a ‘negative’ report with them 48 hours before arrival.
Shiva food will now be available only in parcels
In view of the increasing cases of corona, the ‘Shiva food’ thali, which is available for 5 rupees, will now only be found in the parcel. Maharashtra Food Minister Chhagan Bhujbal said that despite the parcel, the price of the plate would be only Rs 5.
Bombay High Court will be closed for the next whole week
Next week is Gudi Padwa and BR Ambedkar Jayanti holiday on 12, 13 and 14 April in Maharashtra. Now, in view of the sharp increase in the corona case in the state, especially in Mumbai, the Bombay High Court has decided not to go for further hearing for the next two days. After this, there will be a holiday on Saturday and Sunday. It would not mean a full week of hearings in the High Court starting on April 12.
Building will be sealed if more than 5 patients are found in Mumbai
BMC has decided to seal any housing society with more than five infected patients. The BMC has warned of a fine of Rs 10,000 on the cooperative housing society for violating the rules. Police personnel will be deployed at the entry gate of the sealed buildings.
