Former Madhya Pradesh PWD Minister and senior in the context of commenting on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan regarding the age of marriage of girls Congress leader Sajjan Singh Verma (Sajjan Singh Verma) gave a very controversial statement. Verma has said that when girls become fertile in 15 years, then what is the need to increase the age of marriage to 21 years. when Girls wedding If the age is already 18 years, then what is the need of change in it.
In response to questions from journalists on the law and order of the state in the Congress office, Verma suddenly said, ‘CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan is not a scientist. They are not able to save 13-year-old girls in the state and are advocating marriage in 21 years! The former minister said that ‘crime against women and girls is continuously increasing in Madhya Pradesh. This government is failing in stopping this. Marriage of girls is appropriate in 18 years. Because the doctor himself states that girls become capable of producing children at the age of 15, hence the age of 18 is right for girls to marry.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had said to make the marriage age of girls 21 years. The CM had said that when the marriage age of boys can be 21 years, then the marriage age of girls should also be 21 years. On Monday, the Chief Minister had said in a program the need for a debate on the age of marriage of girls. He had said that it should be increased from 18 to 21 years.
Shameful! Ex @INCMP@INCIndia minister @sajjanvermaINC said even a 15-year-old girl is capable of reproduction! He was trying to target @ChouhanShivraj for a debate on parity in the legal age of marriage for both the sexes @ndtv@ndtvindia@GargiRawat@RajputAditipic.twitter.com/Mjf6UhtT7j

Chauhan had said that “Sometimes I think there should be a debate in the society that daughters should be married to 18 years of age or it should be increased to 21 years. I want to make this a matter of debate. Think state, country so that a decision can be taken on it.
