Seeing him use a gun, I developed a passion for weapons. As I grew up, I developed a passion for shooting. Started practicing shooting with father’s gun.
He further said, “When a fair was held near the village, I used to burst balloons with a gun. Used to blow out the burning candles. All my shots looked accurate there. Friends used to praise me. With this, my interest in shooting increased. Even when he used to buy toys, he used to buy only plastic guns and pistols. Then one day I called my aunt’s son Navdeep Singh Rathore.
Navdeep Bhaiya is also a professional shooter. I was impressed when his name appeared in the paper after winning a shooting competition. I told him that brother, I also want to shoot. The State Academy got me played so that my ranking improves and I can be selected in the senior national team for the Asian Championship.
