Kerala Assembly Polls 2021: An Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) activist was allegedly killed yesterday by political opponents after voting ended for the assembly elections in Kerala. Voting in the state was generally peaceful but three incidents of violence were recorded at night. The IUML activist, who lost his life in the violence, has been identified as 21-year-old Mansoor, who was allegedly attacked by CPM supporters on Tuesday night. Kerala The voting was recorded at 74 percent, which is three percent less than the 2016 assembly elections. In the 2016 assembly elections, 77% of the votes were cast.

According to news agency PTI, clashes started in Paral area at around 8 pm on Tuesday following allegations of fake voting.
