Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has started the registration process for classes 2 and above from today, parents who want to register their child can go to the official site kvsangathan.nic.in and KV admission 2021 process can be checked. The application for class 2 will be conducted in an offline mode based on the availability of seats in a particular class. The last date to apply is April 15 and schools will release the list of selected candidates on April 19 at 4 pm.

According to the program released by KVS, the admission process for class 2 will start from April 20 and will run till April 27. The last date of admission for all classes except class 11 is 31 May.

KVS has said, no entrance examination will be conducted for admission in classes 2 to 8 and admission will be given on the basis of preference category system.

“If applications exceed the number of seats, a lottery system will be followed in each category, including single girl quota (class 6 onwards),”

For admission in class 9, an entrance examination will be conducted and a merit list will be prepared separately for each category. There will be only one paper of three hours duration and there will be 100 marks in Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science and Science subjects, each with 20 marks. To get the qualification, the candidates should secure a total of 33 percent marks.

Registration for class 11 will start after the declaration of class 10 and admission will be completed till the full strength of the class within 20 days of the result declaration by CBSE.

“If it is not approved by the Executive Committee of the school, then there is any difficulty in giving admission to the children till full strength, the procedure prescribed for the other classes given above will be followed and admission will be up to the sanctioned strength of the class. CBSE should be done within 30 days of the declaration of the results. “
