Karnataka Drugs Case: Police has issued summons to Kannada actor Andrita Rai and Aindrita Ray and Diganth for questioning yesterday about the famous drugs case of Karnataka. Significantly, the drugs case of Karnataka is currently in the news. The Bangalore Police today also raided a bungalow spread over a five-acre area near Hebbal Lake. The bungalow is named after Nandini Alva, widow of Karnataka politician (late) and former minister Jeevaraj Alva. His son Aditya Alva is an accused in the drugs case and he has not been arrested yet.

Police sources said, in this case, a case has been registered against 15 people and nine people have been arrested. The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru said in a statement that a search warrant was issued and searches were conducted at Aditya Alva's house in Hebbal. This house has been named 'House of Life'. The police team raided the house near Hebbal Lake, this house also has a swimming pool. This bungalow is quite large and was allegedly used by Aditya to organize the party.

The film actor Ragini Dwivedi, Sanjana Galrani, party organizer Viren Khanna, Rahul and an RTO clerk BK Ravi Shankar have been arrested in this case so far. The CCB has taken up the case after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested three people, including a woman, and large amounts of synthetic drugs have been recovered from them. It is alleged that these drugs were supplied to the actors and actresses of the Kannada film. (Also input from PTI)
