The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced to conduct the preliminary phase of the joint competitive examination in June-July. The Commission has said that a total of 257 vacancies will be filled through this examination. The Commission said in an official statement, “It is for the information of all interested candidates that the Commission has received an order from the Government for recruitment to various posts through the Combined Competitive Examination 2021”.
How many posts will be recruited
Out of the total vacancies, 141 posts will be filled in J&K Police (G) Service, 56 posts in Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service and the remaining J&K Accounts (G) Service.
JKPSC has said that the notification to invite applications for preliminary examination is likely to be released in the third week.
When will the exam be held?
The preliminary examination is likely to be held in the last week of June or the first week of July 2021.
