Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that the Bihar government should also bring a law like Madhya Pradesh. Jashu’s Bihar unit president Vashisht Narayan Singh bluntly said that you do not discuss such statements, if such a statement ever comes, it does not mean that you make it into headlines.

Vashistha Narayan Singh did not agree with Giriraj Singh’s demands at a press conference held at the party office in Patna. He clearly said that his party does not even take cognizance of such statements. The Janata Dal United has indicated that Giriraj Singh’s statements have outweighed that the party wants to stay away from the BJP on controversial issues in future.
However, this is not the first time that Janata Dal United has distanced itself from the statements of Union Minister Giriraj Singh. The party clearly believes that despite being a Union Minister, making controversial statements like Giriraj Singh, the NDA ultimately has to suffer losses in Bihar politics. Giriraj Singh has not been able to win any special NDA candidates in his constituency even in the assembly elections.
