The Olympic Village for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics was completed in 2019. However, due to Corona, the Olympics had to be postponed to 2020.
Rules may come into force from July 1
Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimban quoted the Japanese government as saying that India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan are included in the new rules being made by Japan. After July 1, all these countries will be asked to quarantine their players for 7 days and get them tested every day.

Delta Plus cases are continuously coming up in India amid fears of a third wave of corona. The cases of Delta Plus variant have increased to 52 in the country. Central government alerts state governments
The central government has written a letter to 8 states, alerting them for the Delta Plus variant of Corona. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to the Chief Secretaries of 8 states asking them to make complete preparations for Delta Plus. These include Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. The Center has told the state that there is a need to increase the speed of testing, tracking and vaccination in all the states.
