- INI CET 2021| Supreme Court Postpones PG Entrance Test For A Month, The Exam Was To Be Held On June 16

The Supreme Court has postponed the INI CET exam to be conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) by a month. The exam was to be held on June 16. Regarding the examination, the Supreme Court said that it is not right to conduct the examination during the pandemic.
The court also said that at present, many doctors who have given the examination are still themselves posted on Kovid duty. Doctors from all over the country appear in this examination for higher education in medical.
Students were demanding to postpone the examination
Medical students were also running campaigns on social media for several days to postpone this examination. Actually, MBBS students are posted in Kovid duty only after PM Modi’s appeal. In such a situation, it was becoming very difficult for the students to prepare for the exam. At the same time, the admit cards for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) 2021 were also released on Wednesday.
Admission is done on the basis of examination
The exam was to be held on June 16 for admission to Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Masters of Chirurgi (MCH) and Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses. On the basis of marks obtained in INI CET, candidates are given admission in postgraduate medical programs in AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER and NIMHANS.
