The lockdown will begin in all the cities of Madhya Pradesh from 6 pm today. It will be 60 hours till 6 am Monday. There will be a nine-day lockdown in Ratlam district. Everything will remain locked for seven days in Khargone, Katni and Betul.
Earlier in Chhindwara, the lockdown has started for seven consecutive days from 8 pm on Thursday night. At the same time, Indore has reported the highest number of 887 cases within 24 hours. 686 have been found infected in Bhopal, 326 in Jabalpur and 298 in Gwalior. The first case of the death of an 8-month-old girl from Corona in Bhopal has also come to light.
Corona-infected Adiba (8 months) died on Thursday at Bhopal AIIMS.
Eight-month-old Adiba, admitted to AIIMS Bhopal, died on Thursday. She was admitted to AIIMS for 12 days after getting corona infected. This is the youngest death of a patient from Corona in Bhopal. Adiba was the only child of the family. According to family members, he had fever and tremors in the body, so took AIIMS on 27 March. Surprisingly, no one else was infected in the house.
Amidst the Corona explosion in the state, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has called a cabinet meeting on Friday evening at 5 pm. The CM will discuss the situation in Corona with ministers through video conferencing. The Chief Minister had said on Thursday that the number of beds for Corona patients in the state is being increased to 1 lakh. The Chief Minister directed that the corona tests should be extended and the report should be received within 24 hours.
There will be no lockdown in Damoh only
Lockdown has not been imposed in Damoh alone. Voting for the assembly by-election is scheduled on April 17. With the code of conduct in place, the election officer will have to take the decision to impose the lockdown. Due to the by-election, rallies of leaders are taking place here. On an average, 28 corona cases are being reported daily in the district. So far 94 patients have died here. Damoh city is number nine in the state of death in the state.
41 dead bodies cremated at Bhaepal for the first time
On Thursday, 31 dead bodies were cornered by corona protocol at Bhadbhada, Bhopal.
For the first time in Bhopal, 41 corona patients were cremated on a single day. On Thursday, 36 bodies arrived at the Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat for the last rites. In this, 31 coronas-infected dead bodies were cremated under protocol. 13 bodies were from Bhopal and 18 from outside. This is the largest figure in the state of cremation of dead bodies of Kovid patients in a single city in a day.
For the first time, the space fixed for the last rites of those who died of corona infection at Bhadbhada Vishramghat was reduced and a new place had to be prepared. Even after 36 dead bodies, 8 families were calling to bring the dead bodies to Vishramghat, which was persuaded to come the next day as it was nightfall.
At the same time, in view of the increasing infection in Kolar area of Bhopal, the lockdown has been done from 6 pm today to 19 April 6 am. Kolar area has a population of more than 2.5 lakhs. There are currently 1,800 active cases.
887 patients found in Indore, no relief on Remedisvir
The largest center of Corona has become Indore. Most of the patients are being found here in the entire state. 887 patients were found here in 24 hours. 4 people have also died. Remedycivir injection is most lacking here. For the fourth day in a row, there was a line at the drug stores for injections. Drug traders say that there is a four-fold difference between demand and supply. Demand is continuously increasing, while the supply is only 400 to 500 injections per day.
326 infected found in Jabalpur, the largest figure till date

298 cases found in Gwalior
A record 298 cases have been found in Gwalior in 24 hours. Earlier in the entire Corona period, so far no cases were reported in one day. One patient has also died in the last 24 hours. The infection rate has reached 14.50%. There are 1,464 active cases here.
