new Delhi:

Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Manish Tiwari has questioned the India Biotech vaccine Covaxine three days before the vaccination campaign started. He lashed out at the central government on Wednesday and asked whether these vaccines would be given to the people under the phase 3 trial? He said that either the government should have allowed the use of covaxine after the Phase 3 trial is over or it should not have been released till the Phase 3 trial.

Tiwari has tweeted, “Till yesterday the NDA / BJP claimed that Kovaxin has been approved for emergency use. Did NDA / BJP Indians allow guinea pigs by not allowing vaccine users to take the vaccine of their choice today?” Want to be made, on which the third phase of Covaxin can be tried. “

After ‘Kovishield’ supply of ‘Kovaxin’ also started, today the first shipment sent to 11 cities including Delhi

Let us know that this comment of the former Union Minister has come when the first batch of vaccine has reached this morning in 10 cities of the country including Delhi and it is to be applied to the health workers in the first phase before January 16. However, until now covaccine has not been cleared in the third phase clinical trial. Because of this, the government had said that it will be used as another option.

Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech has developed the covariance in collaboration with the Indian Medical Council of Research. It is a completely indigenous vaccine and is a part of PM Modi’s self-reliant India and Made in India’s over-ambitious project.
