Surgeon Dr. Ajit George of Royal Stoke University Hospital in Stoke in Trent, along with his fellow ear, nose and throat specialist Chris Coulson, created this new safe mask. This mask is now being distributed free of cost to clinics related to the National Health Service Scheme so that ear, nose and laryngologists do not inadvertently become a victim of the disease by coming in contact with a corona virus infected patient. This mask is a kind of device. George said, "It is very exciting to see the device becoming a reality from concept so soon."
