- Indian Companies Now Looking For Freshers After Recruiting Senior Positions

Since the second wave of Corona, there is a rapid increase in recruitment in the country. After recruiting senior level and experienced people in recent months, Indian companies are now preparing to recruit freshers (trainees). This information has come out from the data received from the recruitment agencies.
64% of companies want to increase the number of freshers in their workforce
According to the Outlook Survey of Team Lease Skills University, during the July to December half year, around 45% of employers (company) in the country want to recruit freshers or apprentices. About 64% of employers want to increase the number of freshers in their workforce.
Recruitment intentions in small businesses increased to 23% in the second half from 8% in the first half. Whereas in medium businesses, this intention has gone up to 42% as compared to 37. Hiring intent in large businesses increased to 61% from 50% in the first half. The intention to recruit women, which was 23% in July-December 2020, has increased to 32% in July-December 2021.
Demand for digital skills increased in IT – Quass
According to the latest survey by business solutions provider Quays, the demand for digital skills like full stack, React JS, Android, Angular JS, cloud infrastructure, cyber security in the IT sector has grown by 300% on a quarterly basis.
45% employers will recruit in this half year
