In the Panchayat elections of UP, 16 district panchayat presidents of BJP have been elected unopposed. While the Samajwadi Party has alleged that the Yogi government through the police kidnapped and held its district panchayat candidates hostage and did not allow them to file nominations. SP President Akhilesh Yadav has sacked party presidents of 11 of these districts on charges of negligence in work. In Gorakhpur whose video Akhilesh Yadav has tweeted, he had fielded Jitendra Yadav. Akhilesh Yadav has alleged that when Jitendra Yadav was going to file his nomination today, the police forcibly stopped him. Took it and did not allow to file the form Due to which BJP’s Sadhna Singh won the election unopposed.
Similarly, 23-year-old Aarti, a BJP candidate in Balrampur district, won the election unopposed. In Balrampur, SP leaders have alleged that the party’s candidate Kiran Yadav was picked up by the police from her house at five in the morning and did not allow her to file the form. In Mau district of eastern Uttar Pradesh, BJP’s Manoj Rai became the district panchayat president unopposed. . SP and BSP candidates had bought nomination papers but they did not turn up for nominations. There also SP leaders alleged that the police had made their candidate disappear.
BJP’s Manju Bhadauria won the election unopposed in Agra. Here too no one from the Samajwadi Party came to file the form. In Shravasti, BJP’s former MP Daddan Mishra won the election unopposed. Here also the Samajwadi Party candidates did not reach to file their nominations. Here too, the people of the Samajwadi Party alleged that their candidate was not allowed to file nomination on the strength of the police.
