On September 11, three persons, who were allegedly robbed on arms by force in a jewelery shop in Khair Road in Bannadevi area of Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh district, were arrested during an encounter on Wednesday by police station Sector 39.
Additional Commissioner of Police Luv Kumar said that on September 11, three miscreants had looted on the strength of arms in broad daylight at Sundar Jeweler situated on Khair Road of Banna Devi police station area of Aligarh district. He said that the video of the said incident went viral on social media.
He told that police of many districts were engaged for the disclosure of the said incident. He said that the police station Sector 39 was investigating near Sector 38-A on Wednesday afternoon. He told that during this time, three people appeared on a motorcycle.

They told that when the police made a gesture to stop them, the motorcycle riders fired at the police team instead of stopping. Additional Commissioner of Police said that the police also retaliated and opened fire.
They told that Rohit, Mohit and Sourav were shot by the police. They told that all three have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. They told that all three are residents of Khoda Colony area of Ghaziabad.
He said that the police recovered cash and illegal weapons and motorcycle, which were looted from the jewelery shop of Aligarh from these persons. He told that they are being questioned in depth.
He told that during interrogation, the police came to know that these people had committed many incidents of looting.
