Last night in Bhinay town of Ajmer, a young man killed his own mother and younger brother by hammering him in the head. The accused also wanted to kill his father and three brothers, but the people of the neighborhood came to help and saved his life after the noise of the family members. Accused Amarchandra Jangid (25) has done B.Ed. and he was preparing for REET.
The intention of the accused youth was to destroy the entire family. On the basis of preliminary investigation, it is being told that the accused was in depression. He had been in Jaipur for nearly two years and was preparing for reit. He was under stress due to not having an exam. Was not even getting a job. Probably in this tension he committed the incident. However, the police say that only after investigation, the cause of this incident will be known.
Accused 13 hours later, 12 km away from home caught in the forest
The accused escaped at around 4 am after committing the Amarchandra incident, but at around 5 pm on Thursday evening, the villagers of Jabarkiya informed the police that they had caught the accused. He was trying to hide in the fields. After this, the police reached the spot and started questioning the accused in custody. The place from where the accused was arrested is 12 km from the crime scene.
When the villagers asked the accused the reason for killing the mother and brother, he said that he does not remember anything. On the contrary, he started asking the villagers, how are the people of his family?
2 o’clock incident, first killed mother
Police said that the work of the family in which the incident occurred is to make their furniture. The parents lived in the village, while 5 sons lived in Jaipur. One of his brothers Tarachandra had an appendix operation in Ajmer. All the brothers came to the village on Wednesday. At around 2 pm on Wednesday night, accused Amarchandra came out of his room. Turning off the power cutout, he switched off the lights of the house and locked the door from inside. He went to the room of mother Kamala Devi (60) and hit her in the head. Due to this, the mother died on the spot. From here he went to the room of younger brother Shivraj (22) and hit his head with a hammer. Shivraj too died on the spot.
Meanwhile, there was noise. Father Ramdhan (65), who was sleeping outside and three brothers sleeping in other rooms, Bhagchand, Omprakash and Tarachandra ran to stop the accused. The accused also attacked him. He wanted to kill them all. All three were injured in a hammer attack. Hearing the loud voice, some people of the locality woke up and ran to save. Meanwhile, the accused escaped.

The whole family slept after dinner
The reason for this incident in Bhinay’s town is not understood by anyone. It is being told that all the family members slept comfortably in the night. There was no dispute. A relative told that Arapi Amarchandra often lived quietly. Did not talk to anyone more. Last night, the family members looked relaxed, talked to the people around.
The accused was acting strangely during the murder
The manner in which the accused was acting at the time of the murder also points towards his being in deep depression. Police said that firstly Amarchandra switched off the lights of the house and closed the outside door. After this, he went to the mother’s room and killed her in a hammer. The younger brother went to Shivraj’s room and said – Mother is calling. As soon as he got up, he also hit his head with a hammer.
Father Ramdhan and three brothers were injured in the attack. The accused attacked everyone’s head.
After the incident, the FSL team from Ajmer reached the spot and gathered evidence.
