Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) announced admission for Post B.Sc Nursing Program. Entrance examination will be held on April 11 across the country for candidates wishing to enroll in the January 2021 program.
Interested candidates can apply online on the official IGNOU website ignou.ac.in. Applications are to end on March 20 and this course is for a period of three years which can be extended up to five years.
Minimum two years experience in the profession with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with 10 + 2 to in-service nurses i.e. Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) for admission to Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. As after registration). For male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM program, in lieu of midwifery, they should have a certificate in any nursing course of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council. Or a minimum of five years experience in the profession (after registering as RNRM) with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with 10th class (Matriculation) or its equivalent in In-service Nurses (RNRM). is. (For male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM program, in lieu of midwifery, any nursing course of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council should be given a certificate) According to the reservation of 5 percent marks in the minimum eligibility and exemption will be given.
There will be 120 multiple choice questions in the entrance exam. The duration of the test will be two and a half hours. It will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode through OMR sheet.
