Khushi Pandey of Lucknow had lost her maternal grandfather in a road accident. His grandfather was riding a bicycle when a car hit him. Since then, Khushi has installed 1500 free red beacons on cycles.
Khushi can often be seen at major intersections in the city holding a placard that reads “Cycle pe light lagwao”.
Along with the video, Avneesh Sharan wrote, “God bless you.”

Meanwhile, the video of another road safety warrior named Raghavendra Kumar also went viral on the internet. Popularly known as the ‘Helmet Man of India’, the man decided to give a free helmet to a bike rider who was speeding over 100 kmph on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway without a helmet.
Till now, the man has distributed more than 56 thousand helmets across India and has saved 30 lives in the last 10 years. Raghavendra Kumar is continuously working towards increasing awareness for road safety.
