Bharat Biotech’s Kovid-19 vaccine, Covaccine, may soon get permission for emergency use from the World Health Organization (WHO). A top company official gave this information on Wednesday. Bharat Biotech’s Joint Managing Director Suchitra Ella said the Emergency Use List (EUL) is no longer a long process as most of the vaccine maker’s units have been audited by the global health body.

He said in a tweet that we are working closely with the World Health Organization to include the vaccine in the list of emergency use. He said that the process of approval from WHO is not expected to be long. He said that the EUL process is one step away from the final decision on global acceptance of the vaccine. He said that with 10 scientific publications in 12 months, Covaccine is one of the few vaccines whose detailed data have been published in globally renowned journals.
