Memory can also be increased by wearing a helmet. Scientists in England have claimed to have made a similar helmet. Scientists say, through this helmet, amnesia (dementia) can be controlled in the elderly. The price of this helmet-like device is said to be Rs 7.5 lakh.

Scientists from England’s Durham University, who designed this helmet, say that wearing it twice a day for 6-6 minutes saw an improvement in neurons and brain skills, along with an increase in memory.

Researchers say that 8.5 million people in the UK are suffering from dementia. For such patients, this helmet can prove to be a game-changer device.

Understand how a helmet works
The device works like ‘photo biomodulation’, says Dr. Goder Doogle, who developed the helmet. For this the patient is wearing this helmet. Infrared rays emanating from it reach the depths of the brain.

If understood in simple language, it works to repair the dead cells of the brain and improve their ability to work. The device provides energy to cells by boosting mitochondria so that they can activate the brain’s immune cells and flush out toxins that cause dementia.

Researchers believe that with the help of therapy, the level of brain nitric oxide increases and blood circulation also increases. When this happens, more oxygen reaches the brain cells. Therefore, there is a positive effect on the brain.

such research
Researchers included 13 people in the helmet trial. These were checked before and after the trial. It was revealed in the research report that their ability to work in the brain and memory increased.

Researchers say, research has proved that infrared light treatment can prove to be a game-changing therapy for patients suffering from dementia. Research will continue on this and it will be tried to understand whether it can be used in the treatment of Alzheimer’s patients or not.

what is dementia

Dementia means memory loss. There are two types of dementia. First, that which is curable. Second, that which has no cure i.e. Degenerative Dementia, Alzheimer’s is also a disease of this category.

Brain cells that control memory begin to dry up. The effect of which is seen in the form of falling memory and it becomes impossible to recover. When this happens, the condition of dementia is created.
