Mumbai:

The India Meteorological Department said on Saturday that very heavy rainfall is expected at some places in Maharashtra's capital Mumbai and some other districts of the state from August 3 to August 5. Apart from Mumbai during this period, heavy rains are expected in Raigarh, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli, Beed, Latur and Osmanabad districts.

IMD forecasts forecast light to moderate rain in Nanded, Hingoli, Parbhani, Jalna, Sangli and Aurangabad by August 5, as per IMD classification, heavy to very heavy rainfall means 64.5 in a 24-hour period. Rainfall from mm to 204.4 mm.
