Union Health Ministry Haridwar To be in (Haridwar) Kumbh Mela 2021 (Kumbh Mela 2021) has released Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). It has been written in the SOP that the Kumbh Mela can start from 27 February till 30 April 2021. Devotees will have to bring a negative RT-PCR test report (not older than 72 hours) of Corona, only then entry will be received in the fair. It is likely that 10 lakh people will come daily during the fair, while 50 lakh people can come during the festival bath or royal bath. Government of Uttarakhand (Uttrakhand Government) will have to ensure that only those health workers and front line workers are posted at the Kumbh Mela who have got the Corona vaccine.

Those pilgrims who do not bring medical certificates will not be allowed to enter the Kumbh Mela. People above 65 years of age, pregnant women, children below 10 years and people suffering from chronic serious illness should be discouraged from visiting the Kumbh Mela. State government employees whose age is more, pregnant women or employees suffering from chronic critical illness, these people should not be engaged in any frontline work or work where there is direct connection with the public.
