A Kerala woman was gang-raped by a Rapido bike taxi driver along with a friend in Bengaluru. Police said that the woman was under the influence of alcohol. Taking advantage of this, the driver took the woman to his home. Based on the woman’s complaint, the police arrested three people, including a woman.

There was also a woman in the driver’s house
The woman told that I had gone to meet my friend on the night of 25 November. From here I booked a Rapido bike taxi to go to another friend’s house. I was intoxicated. The driver took me to the drop location, but I was in no condition to get off the bike. Taking advantage of this, the driver took me to his house, where a woman was already present. The driver called a friend over phone and both of them gang-raped me.

When she opened her eyes in the morning, the woman ran to the hospital
The woman claimed that when I opened my eyes in the morning, there was terrible pain in my body. I ran away from the house of the accused and reached the hospital. After this, the doctors informed the police about the matter. On the basis of the victim’s complaint, the police arrested all the three accused. While both the boys are residents of Bangalore, the accused woman is from West Bengal.
