The Gujarat government has decided to postpone the GSEB class 12th board exam 2021 till further notice, amid growing Kovid-19 cases across the state. The government will soon release new exam dates for the postponed board examinations.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has recently announced that the GSEB class 12 board exam will be held at a later date due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, as the current situation is not conducive to conducting the exam in offline mode.
The government has said that the education department of the state will review the Kovid-19 status in the state and then announce new dates for the board examinations of GSEB class 12. It is believed that the exam will be held in July this year.
GSEB Class 10 board exams: 10th exam canceled
Recently, the Gujarat government also decided to cancel the GSEB class 10th board exam 2021 due to increase in Kovid-19 cases across the state. Class 10 students in Gujarat will now be promoted without conducting examinations.
The GSEB class 10th-12th examinations were scheduled between May 10 and May 24. Already, the board has promoted students of classes 1 to 9 and class 11 to their next higher classes without examination. Now students of class 10th will also be promoted.
Let me tell you, the Gujarat government has also announced summer holidays for school students. Summer vacation in schools in Gujarat will continue till June 6 and the academic year is going to start from June.
